BP launches UK programme for loyalty pricing

The owner of the Castrol lubricant brand, BP, has launched a new programme that will enable its UK customers to access instant savings by scanning their loyalty cards at approximately 300 BP-owned retail outlets.

BP’s vice president for convenience retail and mobility in the UK, Sonya Adams, said that the company was developing its convenience offerings based on customer feedback in order to:

“…give them what they want—rewards they really value and money off products in our stores. It’s all part of how we are evolving our convenience proposition and providing customers on-the-move with quality food and beverage-led offers at our network of convenient roadside locations across the UK.”

These offers will vary over the year and include items supplied by Wild Bean Cafe and M&S Food. All promotions will be applied automatically at the checkout upon the presentation a loyalty app or card. What’s more, customers will continue to accrue points on fuel and retail purchases, which can later be redeemed in BP stores or used to make purchases with partnering organisations like M&S and Amazon.

At TrAchem, we supply lubricants and related products from a range of brands, so it’s little surprise that we supply BP’s Castrol range of lubricants, including Castrol Molub-Alloy and Castrol Spheerol. We can therefore help you consolidate your lubricant supplies and offer a wider range of options to ensure you’re getting a good fit for your application at a great price.
