November will find major players and industry professionals in the world of lubrication gathering in Valencia, Spain.
The 2025 European Base Oils & Lubricants Summit will run over two days, and is to be packed with events and activities. It will be presented by ACI.
The upcoming gathering is the 14th edition of the summit so far. It is set to build on its respected reputation as a key conference for the industry, for those working with lubricant products and the base oils that form their foundation.
The mid-week event will let delegates discuss industry challenges but also fresh innovations and new trends within the sector. The summit also includes insights on more environmentally friendly lubricants, emerging technologies and market dynamics. Topics planned for discussions range from the latest progress in lubrication technology to brand-new formulations for industrial applications.
Advancements for sustainable industrial lubricants including grease, gear oil, cutting fluid and hydraulic oil will be a focus, as will the increasing use of re-refined base oils in their formulation. Other subjects will cover shaping lubricant transportation’s future, the encouragement of collaboration in both the value chain and supply chain and pressure from regulators in the European lubricant and base oil market.
Those attending include lubricant packaging companies, distributors, trade firms, technology providers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), base oil producers, additive suppliers and lubricant manufacturers. Confirmed keynote speakers over the two days include Technical Manager and Senior Specialist for Lubricants at Nynas, Thomas Norrby, and Mobil EAME Technical Advisor, Erdem Kok, among others.
There will also be many opportunities for face-to-face networking for industry professionals.
