Major American oil and gas corporation, Exxon Mobil, is celebrating 100 years of its Mobil Delvac range.
The line is renowned for its heavy-duty industrial solutions in the form of coolants, transmission fluids, diesel engine oil and gear oil. The important milestone marks a century of lubricant innovation and highlights how lubricants have helped shape the trajectory of the modern manufacturing industry.
As a brand, Mobil Delvac is internationally acknowledged for pushing past the existing boundaries of engine durability and performance. In honour of the commemorative occasion, the brand’s team is recognising the generations of employees and customers who have driven innovation and plan to spotlight historic moment of the brand throughout 2025.
These integral moments in Mobil Delvac’s timeline will span the brand’s customers and connected fleet, but also the ingenious efforts of engineers who created cutting-edge formulas that broke new ground.

The Mobil Delvac brand dates to 1925. Its name is an acronym of “Diesel Engine Lubricant by Vacuum Oil.” Its original goal was to meet the growing demand of the diesel industry, but the brand has stood the test of time with considerable resilience, overcoming global challenges to set the bar for new products in multiple industries.
